Pizza Built on
Passion &
Detroit Roots
Via 313 started as a trailer parked on a street corner and became Austin's most beloved Detroit-style pizza. Every pie tells the story of two brothers who refused to compromise on flavor.
From Detroit Streets
to Austin Tables
Brothers Brandon and Zane Hunt grew up eating square pizza in Detroit — that crispy, cheesy, airy-crumbed perfection that only exists in the Motor City. When they landed in Austin, TX, they couldn't find anything like home. So they built it themselves.
"We didn't set out to start a restaurant. We just wanted a slice that tasted like home. Austin fell in love with it before we even had walls."
In 2011, Via 313 launched from a humble food trailer on Rainey Street. The lines formed almost immediately. Word spread fast: this wasn't ordinary pizza. This was something Austinites had never tasted — thick, square, caramelized edges, loaded toppings edge to edge, and a crust that somehow managed to be both light and satisfying.
Today Via 313 operates multiple locations across Austin and continues to honor the Detroit tradition that started it all — one square pie at a time.
